Senator Muhammad Talha Mahmood was contesting election from constituency of NA -1 Chitral for the National Assembly seat, which led to him temporarily separated from the Foundation and his son Mustafa bin Talha was declared acting chairman. On his direction forty trucks loaded from free ration, edible things and relief goods had reached inside the Lawari Tunnel, but opponent candidate of different political and religious parties had objected on it and submitted written complaint to the Deputy Commissioner to stop this distribution as it as a political bribe. The district administration stopped distribution of these relief goods until the end of election.
