30,000 personnel to guard Islamabad


Islamabad police has finalised the security plan for the federal capital and decided to deploy 30,000 personnel to deal with the possible long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf .

The personnel of Rangers, FC, Elite Force, and Islamabad and Sindh police will be deployed in the federal capital.

Abo ut Rs150 million will be spent daily on food, containers and other expenses of the security personnel.

The high-ups in the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Interior have been informed about the expenses. It is feared that a large number of the PTI workers would come from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through motorway.
