3 women among six shot dead

Six people including three women were killed in two separate incidents of firing in Sindh cities, reported on Friday.

In the first incident, armed men shot three people including two women to death and injured another over old enmity in village Darya Khan of Shikarpur District.

According to police, the incident points to the ongoing rivalry between two groups of the Bhiu and Marfani clans.

To prevent further bloodshed, the police rushed to the crime scene where bodies of the victims were still lying.

Three people including a woman were killed in a clash between two groups of Shar tribe in Katcha area of Gehalpur in Kashmore.

Police sources said that both the groups used modern weapons against each other. Resultantly, three people, including a woman, died on the spot due to bullet injuries.

RaisoShar, DiluShar and woman Nazeer are among the dead.

Police said the tensions between the two groups continued to rise and the area has become a battleground.—INP
