At least three civilians received critical injuries on Wednesday when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing across the Line of Control, said a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations.
Indian troops, in yet another belligerent act, targetted the civilian population of Nikial sector with mortars and automatic weapons. The injuries were reported from Ooli and Khanni villages. The injured were evacuated and were being provided with medical care, added the military’s media wing.
