26 PSA detainees from IIOJK shifted to Agra Jail

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, twenty six persons who were arrested this month from different areas of Kashmir Valley and subsequently booked under draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA), were shifted to high-security Agra jail in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Quoting official sources news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) reported that twenty six detainees were shifted outside IIOJK on Thursday by the authorities through an order issued by Home department of the territory.

They said all the twenty six detainees were lodged in different jails across IIOJK for the last few days after spurt in civilian killings.

Official sources further said among 26 new PSA detainees, six are from Srinagar, five each from Bandipora and Pulwama, four from Badgam, three from Baramulla, two from Shopian.—KMS
