The teams of the district government have recovered more than 2000 sacks of sugar from various areas of the district. According to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, officials of district administration raided various markets in Shewa Adda and recovered more than 2000 sacks of sugar from hoarders.
Three godowns were sealed and cases were registered against owners for hoarding and selling the commodity at inflated rates. Deputy Commissioner Swabi, Gohar Ali has warned action against hoarders.
