200 PhD students graduated from NIBGE

NIBGE has so far produced two hundred Ph.D., and this feat was celebrated by all faculty and administration at NIBGE.

Apart from these two hundred Ph.Ds, numerous M.Phil graduates are performing their duties in various research, academic and private sectors across the country

200th Ph.D Graduated from NIBGE National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (NIBGE) a specialized institute being run under the auspices of the Pakistan Atomic energy Commission, was established in 1992. Initially the academic affiliation of the institute was with Quaid-i-Azam University.

This lasted from 1994 till 2008 when NIBGE shifted its accreditation to Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Science (PIEAS). Currently 132 Ph.D and 57 M.Phil candidates are enrolled at the institution.
