20 mobiles units providing revenue services

Punjab Revenue Minister Malik Muhammad Anwar has said that 20 mobile units for revenue record service delivery have been operating in far-flung areas of the province for provision of revenue services to people at their doorstep.

“20 more mobile units will be made functional during the next fiscal year.” In a statement issued here on Thursday, the provincial minister informed that mobile land record service is being provided in 10 districts including DG Khan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh and Rawalpindi for issuance of fard.

The minister said that mobile units have also been linked with the land record centres of the district concerned in order to resolve problems of the people and now the senior citizens, women and disabled persons won’t have to come to record centres for obtaining revenue services as it would be available at their doorsteps, the minister maintained.

The minister said the reforms introduced in the revenue department were giving relief to the general public and this service would continue to fetch public needs.
