2 TTP terrorists killed in South Waziristan

During a shootout on Monday, the security forces mowed down two wanted terrorists involved in the killing of six Army men service including officers in an assault on 14 October, 2020.
The terrorists belonged to the Sajna group of the defunct Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and were killed during an Intelligence Based Operation in Nargosa area of South Waziristan tribal district.
Reports say the security forces during the IBO in Nargosa spotted a group of militants who offered resistance that resulted in a shootout with the forces. However, in retaliatory fire by the security forces, two terrorists named Usman Ali and Waheed were killed, while another was arrested in injured condition.
The terrorists, according to military, were experts in making improvised explosive devices as well as terrorist trainers and motivators. They were involved in the bloody attack on security forces on October 14, 2020 leading to martyrdom of many soldiers including officers.
