Two individuals lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Ramban district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the fatal incident occurred when a vehicle veered off the road and fell into a deep gorge near Battery Chashma along the Jammu-Srinagar highway in Ramban district.
Reportedly, the driver of the ill-fated cab failed to negotiate a sharp curve, leading to the vehicle’s plunge into the 150-meter-deep gorge near Battery Chashma, Ramban. The deceased have been identified as Hakam Din, aged about 25 years, and Tariq Ahmed, aged about 32 years.
In a separate incident, a non-Kashmiri Indian resident from Uttar Pradesh, identified as Firoz Ahmed, tragically lost his life in a massive overnight blaze that ravaged a shopping complex and a hotel at Batergam in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.—KMS
