As many as 19 outlaws were arrested, arms, ammunition, drugs and liquor recovered during separate actions in jurisdictions of different police stations of Rawalpindi on Saturday.
According to details, during operations in SaddarWah, Civil Lines, Taxila, Gujar Khan, Mandra, Sadiqabad, Pirwadhai and Bani police stations jurisdiction, 14 people including Israr, UmerJehangir, Ramzan, Yasir, Zeeshan, Sahil, Waqas, Sharjeel, Rizwan, Usama, Ehtisham, Muhammad Ali and Anar involved in drugs business were apprehended with four kilogram hashish and 76 litres liquor.
Five accused including Khurram, Nadeem, Mansoor, Afzal and Muzzamil for possession illegal weapons were arrested with a two 30 bores pistol, a rifle, a 9MM pistol and a sharp edged knife in Rawat, Airport and Gujar Khan police stations jurisdictions.
Separate cases against the detainees were registered at respective police stations and investigations were underway.
