167,077 students set to appear in MDCAT exam on Sept 22

This Sunday, September 22, 2024, a total of 167,077 students will appear for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) across Pakistan, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) spokesperson, Umar Khan, announced on Friday.

The test will be conducted under the supervision of Dow University of Health Sciences  at two main centers in Karachi—NED University and DUHS’s Ojha campus. According to the spokesperson, 13,000 students from Karachi and an additional 38,000 from the rest of Sindh will sit for the exam. These students are competing for 858 available seats in medical and dental colleges and universities in Karachi. Candidates have been instructed to bring their admit cards, CNIC/B-form, and domicile/PRC documents. Entry into the examination centers is permitted between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
