A Gas cylinder blast in the provincial metropolis Monday afternoon left at least 15 people including children seriously wounded. Police and the locals said a huge blast accoured in a Gas Cylinder shop at KabootarChowk in the outskirts of Peshawar when the Shopkeeper was busy refilling the gas cylinders.
At the time of blast number of people present at the shop and closed by received seruiou injuries. “At least a dozen people received serious wounds due to huge explosion that also left many children injured”. The Rescue 1122 Officials said.
The law enforcers and the Rescue teams rushed the victims to the Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar where few injured persons where medics provided them treatment with few of them described as critically wounded. The Police has registered a case against the Cylinder shop owner and stared probe into the incident.
