LAHORE – A 13-year-old boy was killed and another was critically injured after they were struck by a speeding car allegedly involved in a street race in an upscale housing society in Lahore, according to reports.
The victims, identified as Subhan and Abubakar, were waiting on a motorcycle with another friend outside a house when two cars, reportedly racing at high speed, approached the area.
One of the vehicles, allegedly driven by an underage driver, crashed into the motorcycle, throwing Subhan into the air.
He suffered a fatal head injury after striking the footpath and died at the scene.
The second injured boy was taken to hospital, where he remains in a coma, according to reports.
A social media user wrote on X, “The driver took an innocent life and must face justice immediately. We demand accountability. Enough with these reckless killers.”

Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, including allegations that the car was being driven by an underage motorist.
Police have not issue any official statement in this regard while the reports claimed that the underage driver and his family have fled the housing society after the incident.
