13 sworn in as LHC judges

In Lahore High Court, 13 additional judges took oath. Chief Justice Lahore High Court Muhammad Qasim Khan administered oath to 13 newly-appointed additional judges of Lahore High Court.

According to details, the Registrar’s Office of the Lahore High Court has received notification of appointment of 13 additional judges.

After the approval of the President of Pakistan, the Ministry of Law and Justice issued a notification.

Chief Justice Lahore High Court Muhammad Qasim Khan administered oath to 13 newly-appointed judges of the Lahore High Court.

Justice Sohail Nasir, Justice Shakeel Ahmed, Justice Safdar Saleem Shahid, Justice Muhammad Nadeem Arshad, Justice Muhammad Tariq Nadeem, Justice Muhammad Amjad Rafique, Justice Abid Hussain Chatha, Justice Muhammad Anwar Hussain, Justice Ali Zia Bajwa, Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed, Justice Muhammad Raza Qureshi, Justice Muhammad Shaan Gul and Justice Muhammad Raheel Kamran Sheikh took oaths.

After the swearing in of 13 additional judges, the total number of judges of the Lahore High Court has been increased to 50.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Attorney General Asad Ali Bajwa, Advocate General Punjab and law officers. Officials of Lahore High Court Bar, Punjab Bar and Pakistan Bar attended the swearing in ceremony.
