1,074 new Corona cases reported in city

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that 27 more patients died lifting the death toll to 3,560 and 1,254 new cases emerged when 13,383 tests were conducted. In a statement issued here from, CM House, he said that 27 more patients lost their lives overnight lifting the death toll to 3,560 that constituted 1.6 percent death rate. The CM said that 13,383 samples were tested which diagnosed 1,254 cases that constituted 9.4 percent. He added that so far 2,360,653 samples have been tested against which 215,679 cases were detected, of them 91 percent or 195,420 patients have recovered, including 769 overnight. Shah said that currently 16,699 patients were under treatment, of them 15,960 were in home isolation, 11 at isolation centers and 728 at different hospitals. He added that the condition of 657 patients was stated to be critical, including 73 shifted to ventilators. According to the CM, out of 1,254 new cases, 1,074 have been detected from Karachi, including 466 from East, 277 South, 99 Central, 91 Korangi, 86 West and 55 Malir. Hyderabad has 33 cases, Dadu 21, Badin and Naushehroferoze 10 each, Jamshoro and ShaheedBenazirabad nine each, Ghotki, Jacobabad and Mirpurkhas seven each, Kambar, Larkana and Thatta six each, Khairpur, Sukkur and Umerkot four, Kashmore, Matiari and Tando Mohammad Khan three each and Shikarpur one. The Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah urged people of the province to follow Sops.
