10 outlaws held; weapons and narcotics recovered

Islamabad Capital police apprehended 10 criminals involved in criminal activities and recovered narcotics and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said.

He said that, DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha had ordered all zonal officers to curb the crime in their respective areas and arrest those involved in criminal activities and looting innocent people.

Following these directives, Aabpara police team arrested an accused namely Asad Khan and recovered one 9mm bore pistol from his possession. Likewise, the Bhara police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Nabi and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession.

Moreover, a Phulghran police team arrested two drug peddler namely Muhammad Waseem and Muhammad Haris and recovered 210 gram heroin and one 9mm pistol along with ammunition from their possession. Khanna police arrested two accused namely Abdul Azam and Muhammad Asif and two 30 bore pistols from their possession. Lohibher police arrested accused Ahad Ali and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. Noon police arrested accused Danish and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During a special crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders police teams arrested two accused from different areas of a city.

DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha said that the safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
