Dry weather to prevail


Islamabad—Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts and hot in plain areas of the country during next 24 hours. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, a Met Office official told APP Sunday. In last 24 hours weather remained dry in most parts of the country. The Quetta Met Office has forecast a dry and cold weather for the provincial capital during next 24 hours. On Sunday, the highest maximum temperature 22 centigrade and the lowest minimum 09 centigrade were recorded in the metropolis. The dry weather has been forecast for rest of the region. While, the Karachi Met. Office on Sunday forecast fair weather for the metropolis during the next 24 hours. An official of the Met. Office said that the maximum temperature is expected to remain between 33 to 35 degrees Centigrade during the period. The maximum temperature recorded in the city on Sunday was 34.3 degrees Centigrade while the minimum temperature was 25 degrees Centigrade. Humidity in the morning was recorded at 80 percent while it was 52 percent in the evening. Maximum temperatures recorded on Sunday were: Sibbi, Sukkur, Mithi, Shaheed Benazirabad, Lasbela, Mirpurkhas, R.Y. Khan, and Noorpur Thal 38øC, Hyderabad 37øC, Faisalabad 36øC, Multan and Lahore 35øC, Islamabad and Karachi 34øC, Peshawar 32øC, Muzaffarabad 31øC, Dir 30øC, Quetta 29øC, Gilgit and Chitral 28øC, Hunza 26øC, Kalat 25øC and Murree, Skardu 23øC.—APP
