Zaka Ashraf has reportedly resigned as chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee, reports said Friday.
The seasoned banker, a well-connected businessman and PCB chief, said he was working for the betterment of the cricket. He also mentioned that the premier will appoint next top official.
The tenure of Mr Ashraf has been marred by controversies while he also remained at odds with several players of Pakistan Cricket.
Zaka was picked by former PM Shehbaz Sharif, in his capacity as Patron of the Pakistan Cricket Board in July 2023.
