LAHORE – In a major development, famous YouTuber Rajab Butt has withdrawn bail application after the police investigation cleared him of rape charges.
The development took place during hearing of the bail pleas moved by Rajab Butt and other accused in a local court in Lahore.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Syed Najaf Haider Kazmi was hearing the case while Advocate Mian Ali Ashfaq represented Rajab Butt in the court.
During the proceedings, the investigating officer submitted a statement declaring that Rajab Butt and two other accused were not found guilty during the investigation.
Based on this ground, Rajab Butt voluntarily withdrew his request for the interim bail.
Meanwhile, the court granted an extension of interim bail to co-accused Salman Haider until July 3.
The case was registered at Nawab Town Police Station, and involved the serious allegations. However, with some of the accused now cleared in the initial investigation, the legal proceedings appear to be shifting focus.
Earlier, Rajab Butt was caught in another controversy after the release of viral clip showing him and his aides in a brawl and fans were shocked when the social media star was spotted hitting the young man.
The clip soon went viral on social media, sparking widespread condemnation. The victim, identified as Imran, was traveling with his family when he faced an unwanted situation over road rash. Butt and his friends allegedly blocked Imran’s vehicle and assaulted him in presence of his family members.

Imran then took legal action, and filed a formal complaint against Rajab Butt at local Police Station. Sources reveal that attempts were made to pressure the victim into dropping the case. However, a follow-up video surfaced showing Rajab Butt apologizing to Imran, lamenting his behavior during the incident.
Cops confirmed that both parties have now settled the matter amicably. Rajab Butt has publicly apologized, and Imran has withdrawn his complaint.
This incident has once again raised concerns about the behavior of public figures on social media and the impact of their actions on their followers. Authorities have urged citizens to resolve disputes peacefully and avoid taking the law into their own hands.
