LAHORE – Rains with isolated hailstorms are expected in Lahore and parts of Punjab on Tuesday night.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A shallow westerly trough affects Kashmir & adjoining areas, and is moving northeastwards.
Under these conditions, partly cloudy weather with rains and gusty winds is expected in Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Mangla, Chakwal, Talagang, Wazirabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal and Lahore on Tuesday night.
On Wednesday, mainly dry weather is expected in most districts of the province. Cold and dry weather is likely in Murree and Galiyat.
Lahore’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 15°C and 17°C on Wednesday, between 14°C and 16°C on Thursday, and between 13°C and 15°C on Friday.
Meanwhile, rain occurred in upper Punjab and Islamabad during the last 24 hours.

Murree remained the coldest place in Punjab, where the minimum temperature was recorded at 07°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 68 per cent.
In Lahore, the minimum temperature was recorded at 16°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 48 per cent.
