Citizens can now apply for new residential and commercial Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) water connections through both e-Khidmat Centres established by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) in Lahore.
The newly introduced facility enables applicants to submit requests for new WASA water connections at e-Khidmat Centres, making the process quicker, more convenient, and streamlined.
The initiative is part of the Punjab government’s ongoing efforts to enhance public service delivery through citizen-focused digital governance. The two e-Khidmat Centres operate from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, offering extended service hours for public convenience.
Citizens can visit the e-Khidmat website to learn more about the new service and explore a wide range of government facilities available at the centres. They can also contact the e-Khidmat Helpline for further information and assistance.
Speaking on the occasion, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said the Punjab government is continuously expanding the range of services available through e-Khidmat Centres to provide citizens with modern, convenient, and efficient access to government facilities.
He said the addition of WASA’s residential and commercial water connection service will allow citizens to access more government services under one roof while reducing the need to visit multiple government offices.
