Vacant seats of specialist doctors, paramedics will be filled on priority

All the vacant seats of specialist doctors and paramedics will be filled on priority and medical equipment which include MRI and CT Scan machines will also be provided to DHQ Hospital Attock . Provincial Minister for Health Akhtar Malik said this while paying a surprise visit to DHQ Hospital Attock.

He was accompnied by Director General Health Services Punjab Dr Shahid Magsi , DC Attock Dr Hasan Waqar Cheema , CEO Health Dr Jawad Elahi and others .Provincial Minister for Health Akhtar Malik said that govt was providing maximum facilities to doctors and now it was their duty to serve humanity in a better way and said that those performing their duties professiinaly will be appreciated.

He said , medicines must be provided to the indoor and outdoor patients , cleanliness of the hospital must be further improved and all the air-conditioners must be made serviceable and in case of load shedding generator must be utilized.

The Minister expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements made to control Dengue. The Minister said that salaries of contractual staff working in DHQ Hospital will soon be released. The Minister earlier visited all the wards.

The Minister also had interaction with the indoor and outdoor patients and asked from them about the facilities being provided.

Deputy Commissioner Attock Dr Hasan Waqar Cheema while briefing the Provincial Minister said that all out efforts were being made to control Dengue and for the purpose 73 out door and 348 indoor teams were working and so for 26 premises had been sealed , 110 FIRs registered and Rs 0.310 million fine imposed.
