UNSC session on Kashmir is Pakistan’s biggest achievement: Fakhar

The Chairman of Kashmir Committee, Syed Fakhar Imam, has said that the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) session on the Kashmir issue is a biggest achievement of Pakistan and diplomatic failure of India.
In an interview with Radio Pakistan on Thursday, he said the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to the United States proved a stroke of luck for Kashmir dispute as the US President, Donald Trump, offered to play his role on the issue.
He appreciated the role of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in this regard.
The Chairman Kashmir Committee said that recognition of Kashmir as disputed territory at the Security Council session was the acknowledgement of UN resolutions of 1948 and 1949 on Kashmir.
