Recently, Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said those having permanent residency in the European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), and United States (US) can perform Umrah without applying for an Umrah visa.
Officials from Hajj and Umrah ministry said the new move aims to improve the Umrah pilgrimage process, and service quality, besides offering rich experience to pilgrims under KSA’s Vision 2030.
With the new rule effective, all eligible Umrah aspirants can schedule their pilgrimage through the Nusk app. Moreover, pilgrims can perform Umrah directly upon arrival.
Saudi Arabian government further introduced visa-on-arrival options for residents of several regions, and they can have a rich tourism experience while having Umrah Visa. This inclusive policy also extends to the first-degree relatives of the visa holders.
Moreover, individuals have the choice to conduct Umrah while having a transit visa, especially when they are flying with Saudi Airline – the Kingdom’s national flag carrier.
