Trump Predicts Sharp Drop in Fuel Prices After Iran War

Donald Trump has predicted that the conflict with Iran will end later this year, possibly shortly after the US midterm elections in November.

Speaking to reporters during the Irish Open golf championship, ge said that an end to the Iran war could trigger a sharp decline in fuel prices.

Trump said Iran was eager to reach an agreement with the United States but stressed that Washington would only accept what he considers a favourable deal. He also dismissed questions about a planned meeting between Iran and Gulf countries on the Strait of Hormuz, saying the matter was for them to decide.

The meeting is scheduled to take place in Oman as tensions continue over the strategic waterway amid the ongoing US conflict with Iran.
