Triple Salary Bonus announced for THESE govt employees in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – In an exciting development for employees of Election Commission the government announced three salaries as bonuses for conducting elections in impeccable manner.

According to letters sent to provincial election commissioners, the country’s electoral watchdog has announced that employees and officers will receive a bonus equivalent to three basic salaries.

ECP letter however mentioned that those undergoing departmental inquiries or involved with services tribunals or judiciary will not be eligible for this bonus.

This development follows two salary bonuses for ECP employees who conducted duties for general elections in February this year.

As Per the finance ministry’s rules, no institution is allowed to give more than five bonuses to its staff within a single fiscal year.

Earlier, Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja praised staff, agencies personnel, and local administration for ensuring the peaceful conduct of the polls, which facilitated a smooth transfer of power from the caretakers to the elected government.
