KARACHI – Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari urged the government authorities to restore the mobile and internet service in the country, pointing out that suspension of the internet and mobile service may affect the counting process on the election day.
“The suspension of internet and mobile service will also affect the counting and results’ process,” said Bilawal Bhutto urging the authorities concerned to immediately restore the mobile and internet services across Pakistan.
The PPP chairman made these remarks after casting his votes on the Election Day on Thursday.
“I demand the ECP, the interim government and the courts for restoration of the internet and mobile services in the country. It will affect the voters’ turnout, coordination and most importantly it will affect the counting process as ROs and POs will need to coordinate on this day,” said the PPP chairman.

He also stated that flow of information would be affected also if any untoward incident happened anywhere.
Bilawal also urged the people to cast their votes as it was their power for the future of the country. When asked about his mandadate, he expressed hope that that they would win as overwhelming people came out to cast their votes this day.
Earlier in the day, Bilawal expressed serious concerns over suspension of the internet and mobile services and announced to take legal action against it.
