Suspects involved in looting over Rs20m held


The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel arrested eight suspects involved in looting over 20 million rupees, recovered weapons and uniforms of LEAs and impounded a vehicle with fake number plate here on Monday.
The police and Sindh Rangers conducted a joint operation against the suspects in Malir area of Karachi.
During the operation, LEAs nabbed eight suspects for looting more than 20 million rupees in eight separate incidents and recovered uniforms of police, Rangers and impounded a vehicle bearing with fake number plate.
The detainees used to loot the innocent citizens in the name of providing them with dollar at low rate than market price and committing robberies in police and Rangers uniforms.—INP
