Mall of Humanity opens at Hamdard University

Hamdard University organized ‘Mall of Humanity’ in collaboration with Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) at its main campus, Karachi.
The aim of this event was to provide a platform to needy people where they can shop items like clothes, footwear, beddings, toys, etc. free of cost with the same dignity as the other customers who can pay. The event was inaugurated by worthy Chancellor Mrs. Sadia Rashid and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Shabib ul Hasan who appreciated the students of Hamdard University on organizing a successful event.
On the occasion, Madam Chancellor said, ‘These events should be held on regular basis so we can become a support system for our underprivileged people of society’.
The Vice Chancellor further added, ‘This is indeed a brilliant initiative by students of Hamdard University and HHRD. I hope we work together on such projects which help us improve the lives of deserving ones’.
Hundreds of needy families were benefitted through this program and shopped respectfully as per their requirements.
Honorable Vice Chancellor encouraged the students to organize more of such events in coming future and offered his fullest support in facilitating them.
