The administration of Dera Ismail Khan’s Gomal University on Saturday fined two of its students for playing vulgar songs at the university’s campus to harass female students.

According to the university’s administration, the security staff had reported to Vice-Chancellor (VC) Iftikhar Ahmed a few days back that some students started chasing the buses carrying female students in their car in which vulgar songs were being played.

Taking notice of the incident, the VC fined the two students Rs5,000 each and warned them of expulsion from the university in case they indulged in this practice again.

VC Iftikhar Ahmed told that playing any kind of music was banned at the university’s campus.
