Operations Commander of PPIC3, Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA) SP Asim Jasra has said that smart policing and digital monitoring is essential for the eradication of crime in present times.
He was speaking on the occasion of two-day training visit of the National Highway and Motorway Police promotion course inspectors to Punjab Safe Cities Authority.
NH & MP officers were trained about the working of advanced traffic management system, artificial intelligence system and electronic challaning system.
The trainee officers were briefed on emergency 15 call mechanism, media management and public awareness campaigns’ tools as well.
The trainee police officers said that the modern traffic management system is helpful for both the citizens and the law enforcement agencies.
Modern traffic management system is not only helpful in traffic automation but also play a key role in enforcing law and order.
The under training motorway inspectors further said that Punjab Safe Cities’ modern infrastructure and professionalism of young staff is commendable and this training will help them in dispensation of their professional tasks.
