As the countdown to the general elections 2024 continues, the Provincial Election Commissioner of Sindh, Sharifullah, has issued a crucial reminder to all candidates and political parties participating in the electoral process. Sharifullah emphasized the significance of clause No. 182 of the Elections Act 2017, which marks the conclusion of the election campaign.

The deadline for campaign activities expired at midnight on February 6, bringing an end to all related endeavors. Following the campaign deadline, Sharifullah underscored that individuals are strictly prohibited from engaging in any form of political activity, including meetings, processions, or corner gatherings. Any violation of this clause will result in strict legal action, as outlined by the law.
