Sindh Cabinet Approves Provincial Budget For Fy2026 27

KARACHI – The Sindh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, on Wednesday approved the provincial budget for the financial year 2026-27 during a meeting held in Karachi.

The meeting was attended by provincial ministers, advisers, special assistants, the chief secretary, departmental secretaries, and senior officials concerned.

During the session, members appreciated the chief minister’s efforts in executing record development initiatives in budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26.

Speaking on the occasion, Murad Ali Shah said the government would continue its efforts for public service under the guidance of the Pakistan Peoples Party leadership and pledged further measures in the upcoming fiscal year to improve public welfare across the province.

The cabinet formally approved the budget for FY2026-27, with the chief minister stating that the financial plan has been prepared keeping in view the needs of all segments of society.

He added that, on the directives of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, special initiatives for poverty alleviation have been included in the budget. He further said that important decisions regarding minimum wages for labourers have also been incorporated in the new fiscal plan.
