Sialkot incident against Islam, constitution of Pakistan: Elahi

Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said on Thursday that Sialkot incident is against Islam and constitution of Pakistan and is a failed attempt to discredit Pakistan.

He said this in his meeting with Dr. Hafiz Abdul Rehman Madani, Mian Muhammad Ahsan, Anwar Ahmad Khan, Dr. Hafiz Hamza Madani and Dr. Ansar Madani who called on him at the Governor House on Thursday.

Parvez Elahi gifted a sample of Quranic verses and hadiths prepared with reference to finality of Prophethood to all the leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, the Punjab assembly speaker said that Quranic verse and Hadiths have been prominently displayed in all government offices including Governor House.

He said that those responsible for the Sialkot tragedy should be given the harshest punishment.
