While addressing an open court held at District Police Office Hafizabad, on Saturday, DPO Rai Mazahar Iqbal directed the SHOs and Investigation Officer to ensure their presence during people hours to listen and address people grievances on daily basis.
He said that police was committed to ensure provision of relief to common people on merit without any delay in the district whereas protection of lives, property and honour was prime duty of the police and all out efforts were being made to make the district Hafizabad abode of peace.
He said that open courts were providing opportunities to plaintiffs for approaching concerned officers without any hurdle and hesitation as well as restoring confidence of people on police department.
He further said that confidence of people on police was vital for improving law and order situation in the area. He listened complaints of people and issued appropriate directions to concerned officers for providing maximum relief to the applicants without any discrimination.
