The police arrested seven outlaws including drug pushers, robbers, and recovered narcotics and weapons from their possession during separate actions in Sahiwal on Monday, police said.
Following the directions of DPO Sahiwal Sadiq Baloch, the police launched crackdowns against elements involved in drugs business in Fateh Sher, City, Dousehra Ground, Yousafwala, Bahadur Shah and Kamer police stations jurisdictions in Sahiwal.
During separate actions, 600 tins alcohol, 72 litres locally manufactured liquor were recovered and five drug pushers were arrested.
The Yousafwala police arrested two robbers preparing to commit robbery in village 52/5-L of Sahiwal and recovered two 30 bore pistols along with bullets. The police after confiscated the recovered narcotics, arms registered separate cases in all incidents at concerned police stations and started investigations.
