Public and private sector banks and financial institutions across Pakistan will remain closed on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal).
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced Tuesday that August 26 would be observed as a bank holiday.
As a result, all public and private sector banks and financial institutions will suspend their regular operations for the day. Banking services will resume on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
