Russian President Putin Gets Trumps Invitation To Gaza Peace Board

WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump personally invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to join the American-proposed Gaza “Board of Peace,” under Trump’s ambitious 20-point plan for Gaza’s post-war reconstruction.

The invitation comes at a tense geopolitical moment. Russia has not accepted the US-backed peace proposal aimed at ending the Ukraine war, yet the White House has still extended an olive branch to President Putin.

Kremlin acknowledged that Putin received offer to join Board of Peace. However, neither Moscow nor President Trump has disclosed whether the Russian leader has accepted the invitation, leaving the world guessing about Russia’s next move.

Gaza “Board of Peace” is part of the second phase of Trump’s Gaza strategy, designed to kick in after ceasefire and focus on large-scale reconstruction, stability, and governance. Last week, the White House officially announced the names of the board’s members. According to the statement:

President Donald Trump will serve as Chairman US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will be a member. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will also sit on the board. Other influential global figures are included.According to Reuters, Trump has invited leaders from Turkey, Egypt, France, Germany, Australia, and Canada to join the powerful body.

In another striking diplomatic move, President Trump later extended invitations to the Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India, bringing two rival South Asian nuclear powers into a shared framework aimed at rebuilding Gaza and maintaining peace.

Board of Peace will not operate alone. It will be supported by A “Founding Executive Board”, responsible for investment and diplomacy A separate “Gaza Executive Board”, tasked with overseeing operations on the ground.

This second board will work alongside a proposed administrative body, the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, to manage day-to-day implementation.

White House has said that each board member will be assigned specific portfolio, termed “critically important for stability in Gaza.” However, officials have yet to clarify who will be responsible for what, adding another layer of uncertainty to an already bold and unprecedented initiative.

With Putin’s response still unknown, Russia rejecting a Ukraine peace deal, and a coalition of rivals and allies being pulled into one ambitious framework, Trump’s Gaza “Board of Peace” is fast emerging as one of the most explosive diplomatic experiments in recent history—one that could reshape power dynamics in the Middle East and beyond.

Will Pakistan join Trump’s Board of Peace on Gaza?
