Exchange rate of Pak Rupee strengthened by 17 paisas against the US Dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday and closed at Rs185.45 against the previous day’s closing of Rs185.62.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 185 and Rs 187 respectively.
The price of Euro also depreciated by Rs 1.57 and closed at Rs196.78 against the previous day’s closing of Rs198.35. The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.45, whereas a decrease of Rs 3.29 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 232.89 as compared to its last closing of Rs 236.18.—APP
