Rupee remains stable against dollar

Exchange rate of Pakistan rupee remained stable against the United States dollar in the interbank trading on Thursday and closed at Rs181.73.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs181.8 and Rs183.2 respectively.

Similarly, the price of the euro was depreciated by 31 paisas and closed at Rs199.43 against the previous day’s closing of Rs199.74.

The Japanese Yen lost one paisa to close at Rs1.49, whereas an increase of 39 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs239.53 as compared to its last closing of Rs239.14.

The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal remained unchanged to close at Rs49.47 and Rs48.44 respectively.—APP
