Inspector General of Police Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas has returned looted money worth Rs 7.5 million to the aggrieved citizen.
The IGP made this announcement at a ceremony held at CPO office.
On January, 4 2022 at 09:20 PM, a citizen informed police that he was present in front of his house located at Sector G-11 in Islamabad when an unknown accused suddenly came and snatched Rs 7.5 million from him on gunpoint.
The citizen appreciated and thanked IGP Islamabad and his team for prompt responses. The IGP said on the occasion that Islamabad police is taking all out efforts to curb the crime and to save the lives and property of the citizens.
