The Regional Police Officer Gujranwala Riaz Nazir Garha along with DPO Syed Ali Raza Bukhari visited Police Chowki Rasul and met with dwellers of Rasul Lokri, a locality that was stormed by unknown armed bandits who broke into about twenty houses made the inmates hostage and took away precious items of the household.
They also snatched ornaments the women were wearing. He ensured them all-out efforts were underway to get hold of the culprits involved in this horrifying incident. He said that mobile and tiger force patrolling in the area including Rasul Lokri would be increased to make the checking system more effective. Strength of Police Chowki will be doubled and the Sadar Police Station would be shifted to a building situated at a suitable place in the Police Station limits.
The criminal occurrence of Rasul Lokri is a great challenge, and the police would preempt recurrence of such incidences, he assured. People from the area thanked the RPO for visiting them and expressed their confidence in the police. They also ensured their full cooperation with the police in controlling crime in the area.
