LAHORE – With job offer in hand and dreams of better future abroad, many Pakistanis often find themselves stuck at the final step, and unable to afford visa fees, medical tests, or airfare.
Punjab government rolled out Parwaaz Card Program initiative that offers interest-free financial support to help qualified youth take off toward overseas employment opportunities.
Maryam Nawaz led Punjab government officially launched Parwaaz Card Program, offering interest-free financial assistance to help youth secure employment abroad. The program is set to benefit 1Lac eligible applicants, removing financial hurdles that often prevent skilled individuals from pursuing overseas job opportunities.
Under this scheme, selected applicants will receive funding to cover key overseas employment costs, including visa fees, medical examinations, and air tickets. The initiative is exclusively designed for individuals who already hold a verified foreign job offer from an authorized employer but lack the resources to complete the required process.
To qualify, applicants must be 18 years of age or older, be residents of Punjab, and possess a valid overseas employment offer. The government has emphasized that only candidates who fully meet the eligibility criteria will be considered, ensuring a transparent and merit-based system.
