Executive Officer Rawalpindi Cantonment Board Sibtain Raza here on Monday chaired a ‘Khuli Kutchery’ and issued 15 work orders during the kutchery on the complaints of the cantt residents.
On the complaint of a resident about garbage heaps at Dhoke Syedan Road, Sibtain Raza instructed the Incharge of sanitation branch to clear the area immediat-
ely.
He also directed the water supply branch to arrange water supply to the residents of Street 26, Chamanabad through water tankers.
He further ordered the officers to add property tax cases in agenda of upcoming cantt board meeting and stressed for resolving the sewerage issue of Allahabad area.
The RCB arranged ‘Open Kutcheri’ in office to listen the grievances of citizens related to basic facilities.
The ‘Kutcheri’ was attended by a large number of people of their respective wards. The kutchery was also attended by Secretary RCB, Qaisar Mahmood and heads of several respective branches. The ‘Kutchery’ commenced at 9.30 a.m. and continued till 1.00 pm.
The major issues brought into the notice of executive officer were related to water, sanitation, drainage and sewerage.
After listening to the grievances, the executive officer directed the heads of sections concerned to resolve the issues at earliest and submit its report to him.
He also directed the RCB staff to resolve the basic issues of citizens on priority.
