KARACHI – YouTuber Rajab Butt was injured after he was attacked by a group of lawyers during hearing of a bail petition in case related to disrespecting Namaz in Karachi on Monday.
Butt reached the city court along with Nadeem Naniwala when the lawyers engaged in a scuffle with the social media celebrities.
Initial reports indicate that Rajab Butt had arrived at the court to request interim bail in a case filed against him.
Upon entering the courthouse, a group of lawyers reportedly confronted him, leading to a violent altercation.
Witnesses claimed that Rajab Butt was physically attacked, resulting in injuries to his jaw and mouth, which caused noticeable bleeding.
Court staff and police officers quickly intervened and managed to control the situation, dispersing the attackers after tensions escalated inside the courtroom.
