Rain likely at isolated places


Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Saturday forecast rain-wind-thundershower for Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab and Gilgit Baltistan during the day next 24 hours. Hot and humid weather is likely to prevail elsewhere in the country.

According to the synoptic situation, monsoon currents were penetrating upper parts of the country and likely to continue in upper and central parts during the next few days. The Bahawalpur Met Office has forecast a hot and dry weather for city for next 24 hours.

The highest maximum temperature 39 centigrade and the lowest minimum 28 centigrade were recorded during last 24 hours.—APP
