Punjab Govt gives special Ramazan package of Rs8b

Commissioner Gujranwala Ehsan Bhutta has said that the Punjab government has given special Ramazan package of Rs. 8 billion for providing cheaper essential commodities to people during the holy month of Ramazan.

He was talking to journalists during the visit of Ramazan Bazaar Hafizabad, on Monday. He reviewed prices, quality, supply and demand of different essential commodities being sold in the bazaar.

He expressed his satisfaction over arrangements made by the administration including establishment of separate counters for women and senior citizens, security and waiting area in the bazaar. The Commissioner said that 48 Ramazan Bazaars had been setup in six districts of Gujranwala division to provide relief to the people.
