Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Thursday declared that work has been started to create new districts and tehsils on administrative grounds, saying that the prospect of granting the status of a district to Bhalwal would also be evaluated.

“The incumbent PTI government believes in service delivery instead of making tall and hollow claims.”

Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar was talking to Chairman CM Complaints Cell Sargodha Division Hassan Inam Paracha who called on the chief minister and discussed matters of mutual interest.

He greeted the CM over the success of the PTI candidate in the PP-38 by-election and also appreciated the policy of composite development introduced in the province.

On the occasion, the chief minister, upon Mr Paracha’s request to grant district status to Bhalwal tehsil, assured to review the matter.

Usman Buzdar said that the incumbent government believes in practical steps instead of making tall claims.

“Truth and honesty have prevailed in the Sialkot by-poll,” he maintained and added that the PTI’s success in AJK and Sialkot by-election show public trust in the government policies.

”The people have fed up with the anti-state narrative and elections’ results have proved that there is no room for looters in politics,” the CM said and advised the opposition to shun negative politics after repeated defeats.

Usman Buzdar claimed that the back to back defeats have unnerved the opponents and they should read the writing on the wall.

“The masses ousted all such elements from the political arena who have been doing politics for promotion of personal agenda by spreading chaos.”

The CM said the government has started work on mega projects to develop Sargodha division and a separate development package has been designed for every district.

Similarly, different projects have been approved including Salam to Sargodha Road, Bhera to Malakwal Road, Miani to Pakhowal Road, Alipur to Thathi Wallana Road,” he informed and disclosed that schools would also be upgraded in the Sargodha division.

Hassan Anam Paracha expressed gratitude to the CM for initiating schemes to develop Sargodha division.

On the other hand, on the way back to Lahore from Multan, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar paid a surprise visit to Kabirwala and inspected various areas of the city. Local administration remained uninformed about visit of the CM.

He directed to improve the cleanliness situation and stressed that the line departments would have to fulfil their responsibilities in this regard.

He also directed for early completion of repair and maintenance of city roads, adding that a comprehensive district development package would be devised for Khanewal district.

Meanwhile, on the directives by Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, the services of 2,963 front desk employees have been regularized including 2,506 Police Station Assistants, 382 Senior Station Assistants, 37 Hardware Assistants, 37 Data Processing Officers and a Database Administrator.

The employees have expressed gratitude to the CM, stating that the chief minister has won their hearts.

The chief minister expressed his hope that the employees would continue striving for extending legal support to the victims while diligently performing their duty.

Meanwhile, CM Usman Buzdar sought a report from RPO Sheikhupura about the murder of a child in the Habibabad area of Pattoki and directed to arrest the criminal without any delay.
