ISLAMABAD – President Asif Ali Zardari and his Iranian counterpart agreed to further enhance, economic and other cooperation between the two neighboring countries. Iranian President gets warm welcome at Presidency today on Monday.
A statement issued by President House said Zardari conveyed his deep honour in hosting President Raisi, affirming the shared bonds of religion, history, and culture that unite Pakistan and Iran.
He expressed satisfaction at the positive trajectory of bilateral ties between the two nations and pledged to further fortify the dialogue and cooperation.
Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation and collaboration in various areas to strengthen the existing ties between Pakistan and Iran.
